Whether grooming, shaving, or keeping a beard beautiful; we have your manscaping needs covered!
AFTERSHAVES: Aftershaves help in clearing out any bacteria and closing your pores after you are done shaving so as to block any more bacteria from entering the skin. Now, depending on the type of aftershave, you might also have different reasons to use one. Even though they all share similar features, there are a few things that really make a difference to your (after)shaving session.
- In most cases, aftershave splash is an alcohol based product which is also an antiseptic.
- Aftershave Lotion is a milder version of the splash and normally, it doesn’t contain alcohol
- Finally, the balm is a semi-solid moisturizer which is mostly used if you are experiencing lots of roughness after your shave.
Balms and lotions usually use other natural products like tea tree oil to give a similar effect of cleansing as we experience with alcohol.
BEARD OIL: Beard oil is an oil-based, light moisturizer that can be applied throughout your entire beard quickly and effortlessly. Its liquid form also means it's more effective in hydrating the skin.
Beard oil absorbs into the skin and hair more quickly than balm. As a result, your beard will have a matte finish appearance, rather than glossy or shiny. Beardsmen with longer beards should use a beard brush or comb to distribute the oil evenly through the entire beard. While their appearance is subtle, oils will afford you a silky smooth beard without the gunky texture you might get from commercial conditioners and silicone products.
