Absorb, mattify, deep-cleanse...is there anything charcoal can't do? Activated charcoal can be used just by spreading it on your skin. The charcoal first draws bacteria, toxins, chemicals, dirt, oil, and other micro-particles to the surface of the skin. It then absorbs those foreign substances and carries them away when you rinse the charcoal off your face.
This cleanser can also be used as a mask. Ideal for combination or oily skin, our mildly exfoliating charcoal cleanser makes quick work of excess oil to leave your skin matte and super clean. We counteract charcoal's deep-cleansing action with soothing essential oils to reduce redness and keep your skin nicely balanced.
To Use:
Use a warm washcloth to open up your pores and to wipe any excess dirt or makeup off your face. If you don't get it all off don't worry, the oil wash does a great job even with waterproof mascara!
Take a small amount at a time and wipe on your face. Create a nice even coat that isn't too thick to the point of it running down your face. Massage in to your face as you would with any other facial cleanser.
To use as a mask: Apply it like a mask and avoid your hair, eyes and mouth.
To remove the wash just use the same washcloth soaked in warm water to gently wipe from your skin.
